Halo, LLC. would like to pay tribute to Mr. Ben Chiu, President and founder of Wirop Industrial, CO., LTD. Wirop has been Halo's supplier of choice for testing and swaging equipment that will propel Halo to become one of the best equipped rigging shops in the world. "The equipment has been outstanding and the support received from both Wirop and their U.S. agent, Sea-Land Distributors, LLC., has assured us we made the right decision,” explained Halo's President/ Owner Ken Ragusa.

Wirop's growth and success can be attributed to Chiu who started the company over 30 years ago. Chiu an electrical engineer who at the request of local rigging shops in Taiwan, built Wirop's first swaging press. Due to an intense focus on excellence and continuous product improvement, Wirop is now the world's leading supplier of wire rope presses and test beds, laying claim to manufacturing the world's largest wire rope press. Wirop also manufactures tapering and annealing machines for specialty wire rope and is a producer of a full range of swage fittings that are distributed across the world.

Though Chiu can lay claim to many developments in the area of rigging machinery, he is proudest of the numerous relationships he has built throughout his career. After a recent trip to Taiwan to visit Wirop's factory and Singapore for the OSEA conference, Ken Ragusa had a chance to get to know Mr. Chiu further and says, "Ben Chiu is one of the true leaders of this industry. Having spent a substantial amount of time with him on my most recent trip, it is easy to see why he has become one of the most respected figures in rigging. I noticed his other customers from around the world treat him with great respect and affection. All those I spoke with remarked that he is a gentleman and a man of his word. Having such a large investment in Wirop, I am very happy to have formed a long term relationship with Ben and his staff."
